Since we need more electricity in our operations, we have moved on. Our friend, the solar expert Mats Andersson, helped us plan and implement a photovoltaic plant. On one of the roofs we placed 72 modules (total 118 m2) each with an effect of 245 watts giving a peak power of 18 kW. The estimated annual production is 16 000 kWh.
The solar power plant started working in the summer of 2013 and after about 6 months (2,172 hours) it produced 6855 kWh. We anticipate it will continue to produce green electricity for at least half a century.
