Making use of knowledge and resources is important. We have been investigating the possibility to renovate and re-start the old hydroelectric plant, discontinued over 30 years. Power and energy is prerequisite to forge.
It worked! After much knowledge recovery, planning and hard work with hydro expert Hans Teimert, Wetterling’s Hydroelectric started again in 2012. It does not produce as much electricity as we consume – we still need to buy electricity. But every little help is useful.
We are very proud of our small hydropower plant, producing about 85,000 kWh of green electricity each year.
